Memory care for the whole person
As the caregiver of someone with dementia, it can be hard to balance your loved one’s evolving healthcare needs with the human needs we all share—like meaningful interaction, self expression, and emotional support.
Our memory care households are designed to meet these needs for residents managing dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other cognitive and functional impairments. These households provide comfortable living, stimulating activities, and award-winning care.
*When the award was given, Trillium Place® was called The Mennonite Home.
When it comes to memory care, safety is critical.
Our memory care households are locked and secure so residents can leave only when signed out by a loved one or staff member.
Key Benefits Our memory care protocol includes:
- Socialization and companionship
- Structured programming
- Purposeful community life
- Supportive staff
- Routine visits from a medical doctor

Everyday Memory Support
If your loved one is managing the early stages of dementia, they may be a good fit in one of our personal care households. Our team will help them with reminders about activities, meal times, and personal hygiene, and they’ll enjoy a higher degree of independence in a safe environment.
Advanced Memory Care
People with moderate or severe signs of dementia need more hands-on care and extra safety measures. In our skilled nursing households, our program seeks to illuminate residents with the light of reminiscing and dignity as their memories start to dim—from shadow boxes for displaying favorite photos to the smell of fresh-baked cookies from our country kitchen.
